RADIO STATIONS

Many fans have asked what stations in their area play Dogstar, and where they can request Dogstar songs. Generally, the best place to look is your local Adult Contemporary station. To get you started, here is a list of some stations that played the "Cornerstore" single when it first came out.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

W: Is there anything in this world that you are really afraid of?
Rob: The dark.
Bret: Commitment. (Laughs)
Rob: Intimacy. Nah, just kidding...
Bret:That's not true.
Rob: Keanu, what are you afraid of?
Keanu: Everything.
Bret: For good reason. I'm with you.
W: Alright...
Bret: I'm afraid of bad service in restaurants. (Laughs)
W: Who isn't?

W: Taking musicians from throughout history and genre, what would be your ultimate jam session?
Bret: Let's individually do this.
Rob: Wow. I'd be playing drums. I guess, Paul McCartney on bass. Jimi Hendrix on guitar...
Bret: (Laughing) I'm starting to figure a lot of things out right now. "Ohhhhhh! Ok."
Rob: Joe Strummer singing, and playing rhythm guitar.
Bret: I'd just put together the fantasy band.
Rob: Yeah, fantasy band.
Bret: If you could do a fantasy band...
Rob: The Clash...
Keanu: I'm gonna sit in with Robert's band.
(Everyone laughs)
W: (To Bret) Do you have one?
Bret: Yeah, I would love to just play one show...
Rob: (Interrupting) With Liberace.
Bret: ... as Rod Stewart's guitar player. That's all. In his band. I don't
really know why. I'm kind of over that fantasy band now. But if it came up, I'd do it.

W: What's the weirdest thing that has happened to you while touring or performing?
Rob: Bret got left behind once, like the movie "Almost Famous".
Bret: I got left in Japan one time.
Rob: We left him just like the movie.
W: How did that happen?
Rob: The manager didn't do the right headcount.
Bret: We got split into two different cars, and everyone thought I was in one car, and the other guys thought I was in the other car. And I was actually in the hotel gift shop.
Rob: Some vampire lady in New Orleans bit Keanu in the neck. That was pretty strange.
Bret: With fangs, yeah. Broke her tooth off.
W: Weird. (To Keanu) Did you bleed? (Keanu shakes his head, "No") Thank God.
Rob: Oh, I got another weird one. Some guy from President Clinton's office offered to take us in a nuclear submarine. That was pretty bizarre.

W: How do you write your songs? Do you just jam and figure it out? On a lot of tunes all of you are songwriters, so who writes lyrics and who writes the music?
Bret: I write the lyrics, and we all write the music. And we do just jam and figure it out-- that's exactly right.

Till next time,
D* Webmaster
