QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

W: Musically Our Little Visionary and Happy Ending have a very different sound, what guided that change, which do you prefer, and which do you feel is truer to your musical influences?
Bret: The sound naturally changes. What Keanu was saying today is that we take breaks, then we get back together after a few months, and we always seem to have a new direction. There's no way to way to explain why. The times change, and it's kind of an unconscious development.
Rob: Different producers, too.
Bret: We're always going to be changing, I think. Hopefully.
Rob: Different producers have a little bit of a different sound, and technology. The first album was a bit more...was done in a different studio.
Bret: It was written in a different city. I mean we wrote half of the first album in Chicago. And it was cold, and all the environment really affects the songwriting process.
Rob: Yeah, where it was written had a lot to do with the way it sounds.
Bret: Yeah, definitely.

W: Some Japanese fans want to know your blood type because they tell your fortune based on that.
Rob: A. A+.
(Keanu shakes his head.)
W: (Looking around) No?
Bret: No.
Rob: (To Bret) Dude, you should know what your blood type is. After the show, we might need to give you blood.
Bret: Dude, I don't even know what my blood type is.
Rob: When you ride a motorcycle, you know what your blood type is.
Bret: (Laughs)
Rob: You keep it in the card.
Bret: (Feigning trauma) AAA!!!
Rob: (Feigning even more trauma) AAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
Bret: A+!
W: Okay, what's...
Bret: (Still laughing) You keep a card...
