"Fantastic Four" hothead Chris Evans will join Keanu Reeves and Forest Whitaker in "The Night Watchman", the actor tells IGN Movies.

The film, written and directed by David Ayer, is set within the world of the L.A.P.D.

"I play this guy named Diskant. He's a cop, good cop," Evans informed IGN. "When Keanu gets framed or implicated in this murder, he's the cop in charge of the investigation."

He added, "David Ayer's directing it. I've met David; I've met Keanu. They all seem great."

Muscle-bound "Norbit" funnyman Terry Crews is the latest actor to join the cast of a high-profile, soon-to-shoot drama about an LAPD cop framed by his former mentor. "I just booked a movie called 'The Night Watchman' with Keanu Reeves and Forest Whitaker," he revealed. "It's going to be directed by David Ayer, who wrote 'Training Day' and directed me and Christian Bale in 'Harsh Times.' This guy knows L.A." The noir-ish film stars Reeves as a disgraced, alcoholic cop still grieving over the death of his wife. "This is Keanu in one of his darkest, darkest roles. You will not believe how dark this thing is going to get. This is a hard-core, L.A. story." After years spent populating films like "Malibu's Most Wanted" and "Soul Plane," Crews said he's excited to finally sign on to a substantial dramatic part. "I'm the LAPD spokesman who basically learns that there's a lot of dirt going on," he grinned. "It comes back to bite all of us, and Keanu is in the middle." ...

Does Keanu Reeves have a new lady love?

Washington, April 24: Canadian actor Keanu Reeves has sparked off rumours that he has a new lady love in his life.

The rumours started after the actor was recently seen enjoying drinks with the 22-year-old Mexican actress Martha Higareda.

According to Pop Sugar, Keanu had a hair cut and shaved face, and the pair looked an item during their meeting.

Keanu and Martha have, however, yet not issued any statement on their relationship.

After the death of his former girlfriend Jennifer Syme in a car accident in 2001, the actor has been linked to only a few women, including Claire Forlani, to whom he had also reportedly popped the question on the sets of his movie ‘The Lake House’.

The actor had insisted last year that he wanted to settle down and start a family, and that he needed "some time" to put his plan into action.

"I'm trying not to be alone so much. And, man, it's a struggle. I want to get married. I want to have kids . . . I'll do it. Just give me some time," he had said.

No one in the world would think that you would find a major international celebrity sitting right outside the Beverly Wilshire Hotel at Wilshire and Rodeo Dr in the heart of Beverly Hills. Can you imagine if you were from some hick town attending a Shriners Convention at The Wilshire and you saw Keanu Reeves sitting there at that table! We have, over the years seen so many great starts at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel including Greta Garbo. Most of the time celebrities sit somewhere in the rear of a bar or restaurant. Keanu looks really unamused at our photographer. There is really nothing that we can do. Just can not figure out why he chose to sit in such prime real estate if he wanted to go unnoticed. We are really curious the name of his date.
