Tour Report - Fukuoka -
Date:7/5/00 8:08:45 PM Author:Two Masks Okay, I'm going to admit my bias right here, this was definately my favorite show on the tour. I had the best time rockin' out with the mint group. This is what music and concert going is all about to me, the sense of community and the connection you can have with complete strangers and the energy that sense of community and connection can create...it's positively magic. This is exactly what happened tonight. The crowd was rockin', cheering, screaming, dancing, jumping, swaying, clapping...it was TOO much fun!!! Everyone got so hot and sweaty...perfect rock n' roll!!! The guys were definately influenced by the crowds energy and were rockin' hard, too!!! For the accoustic encore Bret played '32 stories' and a Jim Croche (sp??) cover...or was it "Wish you were here" again?

It was a week after Yokohama show.I knew Akasaka show was excellent show so I expected so much.When I arrived at Zepp Fukuoka at 17:45 am. Then Dogstar members finished their rehearsal and Rob walked with a lady who I think is his family. I knew Mai there.Really she is my mail friend but for the first time we met there and we promised that we would be rockin' with Dogstar.We stood in 1st row but at the end of left ,and there was a speaker at the foot of Bret and in front of us. At just 7:00 Sam made a sign with lighting, It was show time! "Alarming" began!! Bret's voice was as great as in Yokohama show,but audience around us became the viewers. Why many people are particler about seeing more than listening,feeling,breathing with rocking? It's a personal question,but Mai and I would like to be rocking with Dogstar,and clap and call.But because of a speaker in front of us we couldn't hear our voice. Really we seemed to be crazy..sorry Mai. Though Dogstar's play was awesome,Bret saw the upstairs many times, and I saw in the upstairs all people were sitting.I wanted people to understand Dogstar. From my viewpoint we could see Dogstar's members.the personal signals in the interval of their pieces and their blessing in playing their peices. When we play with someone for example,sports and music,we are used to put common sense each other without talking. The way of singing and breathing of Bret remembered me my friend,who is very beautiful and charming and very cheerful and always try his best,and always make a cheerful mood,so we all like him. I was aware that his signal was like as her and I thought Bret was a nice guy maybe. And I imagined personally Bret's blood type might be "B".... in the same way Rob's blood type might be "O". At last I felt Keanu had something duplicate,so I thought "AB". Sorry! Sorry! These are all my impression. Whether it is true or not,personaly(really) . 7th.In Bret's MC,"That's about Keanu Reeves." Here only one person shouted "yeah!!!".It's only me(with sigh). "It's superstar".And began "Superstar". And ordinary set list ended and Bret's encore piece was "32 stories" and Someone requested to Bret Jim Croche Cover but He played it but stopped on the way and tell with shrugging his s shoulders,"No more"(perhaps). and he played "The history light".At last Keanu and Rob appeared on the stage again. Keanu shouted "Dogstar is Bred!".Really Dogstar is Bret, I think too. His word change the viewers into the audience.Keanu,you are great and generous!! When I saw the upstairs at last, all people were waving and rocking! At last this night no one threw anything because theater guard was strict. On the show Bret threw paper plane toward the audience,and someone threw the paperplane toward the stage, but a guard ran to someone who threw paperplane.In the peice "Blown Away" Mai threw her handchief toward Bret. Bret recieved it and wiped his neck.And he shaked us. And the Fukuoka night ended,and next show was Osaka on 1st July.Mai would come to Osaka show,we promised to see again on the next day. And after this show I met Midori(This name is her net name.) and the other great fans.This topic is continued to my experience in Osaka Show. By the way many people in fron ot stage in the Osaka show came from Tokyo,Yokohama,Sendai.All of us would like to enjoy Dogstar concert.Really It's unusual!!
